Oh baby, give me one more chance...
So the last time I attempted to make sourdough starter, I failed miserably. "How is that even possible?" you might be asking yourself. Well...I can only guess that it had something to do with living in an igloo. No- an igloo probably wouldn't have had as many demon drafts! Let's just say it was somewhere where "set starter in a warm place for 4 to 7 days" would only have been possible if I had kept the oven on for 4 to 7 days.

GOOD GRAVY!
I should have known better than to discredit Taj Mahal. Well, not discredit fully, just kind of shrug at for the most part. After all, this girl has a penchant for blues as old as the hills with no amplification. BUT...as with most artists, all I have to do is dig into their back catalogues to find something delicious. Produced before I was born? Done and done. Goooood album.

Baskets
I've been loving them, lately. Especially the plastic-coated wire kind. The older and farmhouse-y-er the better.

Redemption!
So, remember the epic baking fail I had a while back? Well, the baking gods have smiled upon me again.
This is probably the BEST banana bread I've ever made- and I'm a sucker for and connoisseur of quick breads, so that's saying a lot!
