I was going to post a long "woe-is-me" rant, pertaining mainly to my gibbledness, and to everything else I stew about when inoperable, but what's the use? Here's a list of good things.

1) Super cake building time this weekend for Shawn's birthday!

2) New free (ie: Xmas g.c. a la Shawn) stuff from Nokomis! Conveniently, both jersey items, conducive to lounging without looking like a frump.

3) Braving the bumpy ride to go check out our first house rental tonight!

4) Maybe (hopefully?) shirts to print this weekend!

5) Temperatures in the plus column!

6) $2 yarn!!!!! Heather grey, and burnt orange!

Everything else is drivel I need not concern myself with. Other than studying for a midterm. I suppose I ought to concern myself with that.

I can't take any more!!! They even have baby pink piping for god's sake!

Horizontal blogging.

I blame the WHO. If their website had been working this morning when I set out to start into my sociology assignment, I would never have thrown my back out.

Instead, and on the plus side, Shawn and I picked up freshly shot screens, a gallon of goldenrod ink and a whole roll of warm brown vinyl for sticker printing! Deets on his page once the first batch is printed and dried! T-shirts are next, and I will be making totes in the next few months. Yeah for promo!

Now, however, I'm enjoying drool-inducing painkillers, anti-inflammatories, and a newly established office in our bedroom. Boo. No screenprinting fun for me.

We want to move. People on power trips are unpleasant. Especially when they're your new resident building manager, and they live next door to you.

P.S. We are probably the quietest, most boring tenants in the world. Way to choose your battles.

Maya Hayuk makes my eyes happy. So do her good vibes, unicorns and 70's prog rock ideals. The colours! Her psychedelics have intensified to epic status over the last 5 years.

It's 10C here today. Weird- but a nice reprieve, however temporary!

Plastic lace!

It seems that when I'm especially strapped for cash, I find the loveliest things.

I'm going to pine for this bike basket from the Finnish Design Shop until I can afford it. Or, forevermore when it is no longer available- which is probably more likely the case. It comes in white and black, and has a strap to double its possibilities as a shopping basket!

AND it's lace patterned. And we all know that lace makes everything you do look fancy and delicate. I guess all I need to find now is a bike that actually fits me...
